About the author 

Munira Hussein is a writer, microbiologist, researcher, public speaker, author, editor and content creator for websites and blogs. She is the deputy chairperson at Green and Clean Revolution, a Community Based Organization in Marsabit that aims at protecting and preserving the environment. She enjoys reading, mentoring and taking part in charity activities.  She is a mentor at Broad Empire, a mentorship organization that organizes mentorship camps for both boys and girls in high school. She has also authored, ‘A Curve of Darkness’, a poetry anthology, among other texts for the Kenyan school curriculum.
